Volunteer with Chapel Royal and raise money for our hardship fund

Would you like to help fundraise for Friends Centre’s Hardship Fund and at the same time help out the Chapel Royal, North St, Brighton in June?

Could you give 3.5hrs of your time to help run the Chapel Royal café on either Saturday 4, 11, 18 or 25 June – 9.45am-1.15pm?

All takings from the morning’s sales will be donated to Friends Centre’s Lynda Kinsella Hardship Fund which helps learners who may struggle to pay with fees. If you are interested in doing this please contact [email protected], ring EJ on 01273-810203 or see her in the Brighton Junction office.

From Chapel Royal’s website: Every Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm we open our Charity Coffee Shop in our hall. We serve delicious home-made cakes, Fairtrade tea and coffee, and sandwiches made to order.  Each month a different local charity works with us to help run the coffee shop. They also make a display to showcase their work, and of course take the profits!  In addition we provide a unique opportunity for a group of young adults, from The Outlook Foundation in Brighton, to obtain work experience and help us staff the counter.
