We would like to present to you our 2017/18 course brochure for the new academic year. Inside you’ll find over 100 different courses to choose and we hope that you will join us by enrolling on one of them.
January 2017 saw us start the year with a bang by being rated as GOOD by Ofsted and we believe this highlights the fun and learning you are able to gain on a course with us at Friends Centre. Through our work we hope that our learners are able to gain new experiences, grow in confidence, make new friends and learn new things.
There is a range of courses contained in this brochure to help you do all of those things, from Drawing with Confidence to Brush up your Spanish and British Art from 1800 to 1910 to Realise your Potential there really is something for everyone to try.
This year we are also offering some new courses, so take a look at Pattern Cutting or some of our accredited courses in wellbeing and mental health awareness. You may also know someone who would find our courses in English, Maths and English for Speakers of Other Languages useful, so grab yourself a tea or coffee and spend some time looking through our brochure.
We also welcome you to the centre to use our open access computers or our Careers Advice service, so please drop in and find out how you can benefit from these services.
We hope there’s something in here for everyone, whether it is picking up a paintbrush for the first time, brushing up on your Spanish, or learning about art history, there really is something for everyone to learn or develop their skills.
You can book online, in person or over the phone. Many courses fill up quickly so don’t delay in enrolling if you want to secure your place!
