Fees for Accredited Courses
City & Guilds and NCFE/CACHE Courses
The price you will pay will depend on your residency status, age, employment status and any benefits you receive.
Our Level 1 and 2 qualification courses are fully funded* for learners who are in receipt of JSA or ESA (Work Related Activity Group) benefits.
Your eligibility to access SFA (Skills Funding Agency) funding depends on your residency status, and that will be checked during your ESOL interview.
Our Maths and English courses are free to those who do not have prior Level 2 qualifications.
- You must be aged 19 years and over.
- You must also have lived in the European Union for 3 years as an ordinary resident.
If we have to cancel a course we will refund you. Partial refunds are given if the course is closed before the end. In all other cases, we only refund fees in very exceptional circumstances.
If your attendance is prevented by illness we will be sympathetic, but require a medical certificate. Requests for a refund should be made in writing and sent to reception at Brighton Junction.
We have a small fund of money available to help students who have a problem paying fees.
Donations help us to run outreach courses in areas of the city where they are most needed, offer targeted courses for particular groups e.g. homeless people, provide creche spaces so that young parents can come to classes, and help learners with fees and travel costs.
