This course aims to:
Create an exciting opportunity to try out two different printmaking techniques. Create simple relief blocks using card and pressprint, learn how to ink-up and print by hand, experiment with coloured inks and design layout. Create paper cut stencils for screen printing. Combine techniques together to create a unique summer beach bag. The overarching aim of the course is to support learners to gain confidence to develop their own creative ideas into prints. There will be tutor demonstrations, opportunities to try other print techniques if applicable, printed samples and examples of the work of other printmakers throughout.
