Beginners and those with some experience.

  • Demonstrate the purpose of using mediums and their effects
  • Work with different types of brushes and palette knives

What materials will I need for the course?

A set of oil paints preferably including cadmium red, Alizarin crimson, ultramarine, lemon yellow,

cadmium yellow and white. Lukas do a good starter set.

Roughly how much will they cost?

A starter set of oil paint starts from around £12 and a basic set of brushes can be purchased from £8 upwards online or at stationary/art suppliers. Georgian paints work very well.
