  • Where and how to look for work
  • How to make a job search plan
  • How to carry out and evaluate your search

 

Who this course is for?

Anyone who is looking for work or considering a change of direction

 

What will I be able to do by the end of this course?

You will be more confident about knowing how and where to look for job opportunities.

There are two other courses that students can move onto: The Perfect CV and Successful Interview. On completion of one or more of the courses students can begin their job search with confidence.

 

What materials will I need for the course?

Pen and paper. You may want to bring your own laptop or tablet (this is optional).

 

How will I know how I’m doing on the course?

The tutor works with the group and with each student individually as time allows. He will talk with you and answer any questions you might have about your progress.

Who is the course tutor?

Gary is a qualified and experienced careers counsellor and coach (specialising in career management, leadership, and health and wellbeing). He is also a qualified Adult Education teacher with experience of working in community education, further education and higher education.

We might offer a follow up session, talk to the tutor if you are interested.
