I would like to extend my appreciation to all the staff at Friends Centre. When I first came to Brighton, I felt totally lost because I didn't have a friend or relative in the UK, I had no one to help me solve my problems. I am so happy that I visited Jubilee Library and found a leaflet for Friends Centre. I went there to see how they can help. I found that I can use their facilities and enrol on practical courses to improve myself. I am now gaining more skills so I can access further learning opportunities in the future to improve my chances of gaining employment. It's been extremely helpful having three appointments with the National Careers Centre adviser. She is very professional and kind. She discussed different aspects of my job search. She also introduced me to voluntary opportunities which have given me a chance to join in with others, meet people and explore what Brighton has to offer. I don't feel lonely anymore. I deeply appreciate that she has given me a huge hand and much support with my life in Brighton. The reason why I have written this statement is that I would like to let everybody know that Friends Centre is your best friend. The receptionists are very helpful and are patient, listening to what I need. Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to all the staff at Friends Centre again.
