We have five training rooms at Brighton Junction for hire Monday - Sunday 9.00am - 10.00pm. We also have some space during the weekdays and evenings for hire.
Rooms 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 can be joined together by opening a room divider - perfect for larger training spaces, group work, weekend workshops or conference hire. All of the spaces are modern, light and warm. Rooms 1 and 2 have marmoleum flooring and have sinks which make the rooms perfect for art-based classes and provide clean drinking water. Rooms 3, 4 and 5 are carpeted.
All rooms have flexible furniture which is available in a variety of lay-outs, built-in hearing loops, and a fresh-air ventilation system.
There are two smart boards available for hire and digital projectors are available in every room. Each room has at least one PC available and there are also laptops that can be hired.
Refreshments can be provided by Friends Centre on request; hot water flasks with tea, coffee and biscuits. There is a vending machine selling fair-trade tea and coffee in the foyer. Toilet facilities are in the lobby and include an accessible toilet.
There is always a receptionist present who can lock rooms as and when is necessary. Our receptionist is there all the time to help you with anything you need.


Room 1 measures approximately 35 square metres and has the capacity for 14 people seated at tables or 30 seated in theatre style.


Room 2 measures 48 square metres and has a capacity of 18 seated at tables and 40 in theatre style.


Rooms 1 and 2 together measure 83 square metres and has a capacity of 30 seated at tables or 60 in theatre style.

Ivory Place has four rooms to hire at the weekends from Friday afternoons through to Sunday evenings. We do have some space during the weekdays and evenings for hire so it is worth enquiring just in case the rooms are free when you need them.
The rooms can be hired as separate units or together to make a unique 4 roomed self-contained space for rent which is ideal for weekend workshops or conference hire. Rooms 1 & 2 and also Rooms 3 & 4 can be joined together by opening a room divider which make 2 larger rooms that are good for larger training spaces or group work. The spaces are modern, light and warm and tables can be folded away and chairs stacked in Rooms 3 & 4 to make space for activities.
There are three smart boards available for hire (one of them being a mobile unit). Digital projectors are available in every room. Each room has at least one PC available and there are also laptops that can be hired.
A small kitchenette is available for tea and coffee making complete with a microwave and fridge.
Toilet facilities are in a lobby just before entering the space and include an accessible toilet.
There is always a caretaker at reception who can lock rooms as & when it is necessary. Our caretaker is there all the time to help you with anything you need.

Room 1 is south facing and measures 4 x 5.5 metres and holds up to 10 people

Room 2 is south facing and measures 4 x 5.5 metres and holds up to 10 people.
Room 1 and 2 can be combined to make a larger space which can hold up to 30 people (pictured, above).


Room 3 is south east facing and measures 6.5 x 6 metres and holds up to 16 people
Room 4 is east facing and measures 6 x 5.5m and holds up to 14 people.
Rooms 3 & 4 can also be combined to make a single larger room which can hold up to 40 people. (Pictured above, both empty and with furniture)
A lift is available for those with mobility impairments.
