Projects

As well as our main programmes, Friends Centre has a number of projects, often in partnership with other organisations. Through our projects we can reach out to different members of the community and meet specialised needs.

Information, advice and guidance on learning and work - we can offer an individual interview with a trained guidance worker, free to people who qualify. The interview can help you identify your learning and work goals and how to reach them. Click here for more information on IAG

UK Online - as a UK Online Centre we help empower people to become confident users of information and communications technology (ICT). UK Online centres work to overcome the 'digital divide' between the 'haves' and 'have nots' of ICT. We can offer ICT training and access. Go to UK Online Page

Step by Step Project - we provide one to one basic skills support for homeless people along with confidence building and support for initial engagement in learning and progression. The project works in close partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council's Supporting People programme and with hostels and housing organisations across the city. Go to Step By Step page
