How to Find Us

Friends Centre is based at two main sites:

Brighton Junction

Friends Centre's office and two of our classrooms are located at Brighton Junction, a new community space within the One Brighton development on New England Street (current entrance on Stroudley Road). During term time, the office is open from 9.30am - 7.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9.30am to 3.00pm on Fridays (holiday opening times will differ).

Directions to Brighton Junction:

From Brighton train station: From the drop off point at the back of the station walk towards the Jury's Inn Hotel. Go down the steps to your right, just before the hotel, and cross over Stroudley Road to the One Brighton development. Go down the steps or ramp into the development. Continue down another set of steps/ramp and turn sharply right. You'll see the main entrance to Brighton Junction straight ahead of you - the doors open into the cafe area.

From London Road: Turn into Ann Street and past St Bartholomew's Church. Turn right into New England Street and pass Sainsbury's on your left. By New England House, cross at the traffic lights and into Fleet Street. The One Brighton development is on your right. Follow the building around until you come to the steps/ramp leading down into the development. Then follow the instructions above to get to the main entrance for Brighton Junction.

Ivory Place

Friends Centre has four classrooms at Ivory Place. You'll find us on the second floor of the Tarner Children's Centre, which is on the corner of Ivory Place and Morley Street.

Directions to Ivory Place:

From Brighton Pier: Walk up Old Steine and continue along Grand Parade. Turn right into Morley Street. Go past the Ocean Rooms night club on your right. You'll see Tarner Children's Centre ahead.

From London Road: Walk down York Place and past St Peter's Church. Bear left and cross over the road at the traffic lights and onto Grand Parade. Walk along Grand Parade until you reach Morley Street on your left and then follow the instructions above.

If you have any questions about our location or facilities, please telephone us.
